UGC Rate Card Template for Nigerian Creators

A ready-to-use UGC rate card template with Nigerian market rates for video, photo, and usage rights. Copy, customise, and send to brands.

A rate card is a simple document that lists what you charge for each deliverable type. Having one ready means you stop guessing your rates in every pitch and brands take you more seriously when you respond quickly with clear pricing.

This template is based on current Nigerian UGC market rates. Adjust the numbers to your experience level — beginner, mid, or senior — before sending.

How to Use This Template

  1. Copy the rate card below into a Google Doc or Notion page
  2. Replace the placeholder rates with your own (use the ranges below as a guide)
  3. Save it as a PDF named "YourName-UGC-RateCard.pdf"
  4. Attach it to pitches or include the link in your email signature

Update your rate card every 3–6 months as your portfolio and experience grow.

Tips for Sending Your Rate Card

Don't lead with it. Send your portfolio samples first. If a brand is interested, share the rate card in the follow-up. Leading with rates before demonstrating value tends to end conversations early.

Send it as a PDF. A PDF signals professionalism more than a Google Doc link or a list pasted into an email.

Put a date on it. "Last updated [Month Year]" tells brands your rates are current, not from 3 years ago.

Don't negotiate yourself before the brand asks. Send your rates as listed. If a brand pushes back, you can discuss, but don't preemptively discount.
