Terms of Service & Acceptable Use Policy

Operated by Pristine3D Ltd · Lagos, Nigeria · Effective July 10, 2026

ugc.ng is a marketplace that connects brands with user-generated content (UGC) creators. For protection-covered gigs we also hold the brand's payment until the work is approved. We do not employ creators, and we do not supervise or take part in the work agreed between users.

1About the platform

ugc.ng is a self-serve marketplace. Creators publish profiles; brands publish briefs and browse creators. The platform's role is to help the two sides find each other and, for protection-covered gigs, to facilitate payment and disbursement as described in section 5.

We do not employ, represent, or guarantee any user, and we do not supervise, direct, or take part in the creative work itself. The engagement — the brief, the deliverables, the standard of work — is an agreement between the brand and the creator. Our role in protection-covered gigs is limited to holding the payment and applying the payment and dispute rules in these terms.

2Accounts & eligibility

To use ugc.ng you must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement. You agree to provide accurate information at sign-up, including a valid email address, contact details, and where applicable links to your social media profiles.

You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. One person or business may not maintain accounts that impersonate others or misrepresent identity.

3Listings & conduct

Listings go live without manual pre-approval. By posting, you confirm that your listing is accurate, that you have the right to offer what you describe, and that it complies with this policy and with Nigerian law.

You are solely responsible for the content you publish, the claims you make, and the agreements you enter into with other users.

4Acceptable use

You may not use ugc.ng to do, attempt, or facilitate any of the following:

  • Impersonate any person, business, or brand, or misrepresent your identity, affiliation, or credentials.
  • Post fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading listings, including fake reviews, fake portfolios, or fake engagement.
  • Solicit or distribute content that is unlawful, sexually explicit involving minors, hateful, harassing, defamatory, or that infringes another party's intellectual property.
  • Advertise or arrange goods or services that are illegal under Nigerian law.
  • Use the platform to launder money, finance illegal activity, or move funds for purposes unrelated to legitimate creative work.
  • Scrape, harvest, or misuse other users' personal or contact information.
  • Distribute malware, spam, or attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the platform.
  • Circumvent or interfere with any safety, moderation, or reporting feature.
  • Take an engagement that was matched through a protection-covered gig off-platform to avoid the protection fee.
We treat impersonation and fraud as serious violations. Listings or accounts involved in either may be removed without notice.

5Payments, purchase protection & fees

Gigs on ugc.ng settle in one of two ways, and each gig states which applies to it.

Protection-covered gigs (fixed-price gigs, pay-per-view campaigns, and direct offers) are paid through the platform in Nigerian naira. The brand funds the full agreed amount plus our protection fee via our payment processor — at the moment a creator is accepted for fixed gigs, or when the campaign is posted for pay-per-view. Pristine3D Ltd holds the payment under purchase protection and disburses it to the creator when the brand approves the work, or as the review and dispute rules below provide. Payouts are disbursed directly to the creator's verified Nigerian bank account.

The protection fee is currently 15% of the agreed amount (minimum ₦500), paid by the brand on top of the creator's rate. Creators keep 100% of their agreed rate. The current fee is always shown before you pay.

Review on silence. Every funding checkout requires the brand to acknowledge how unresponded deliveries are handled: submissions on fixed gigs that are not reviewed by the deadline are held under purchase protection and reviewed by ugc.ng before any payout is disbursed, and pay-per-view clips become payout-eligible 48 hours after submission if the brand raises no objection (claims are audited before money moves). Refunds owed to a brand — for example a cancelled engagement or an unspent campaign pool — are returned as wallet credit, which can fund future protected checkouts.

Affiliate gigs are the exception: commissions are paid by the brand's own affiliate program, off-platform, using the payout methods stated on the gig. We do not process, hold, or guarantee those payments, and purchase protection does not apply to them.

Pristine3D Ltd is not a bank and does not pay interest on protected payments or wallet balances. Funds are held solely to settle engagements arranged on the platform.

6Disputes

Protection-covered engagements have an on-platform dispute process. If a brand disputes a submission within the review window, the protected amount is held while we review both sides' evidence. We resolve the dispute by disbursing the payment to the creator, refunding the brand, or splitting the amount, and our determination on how protected funds are disbursed is final. Disputing does not extend to the work itself: we decide where the money goes, not whether the parties should keep working together.

Off-platform engagements, including affiliate commissions, are settled directly between the parties. We are not a party to those payments and cannot freeze, recover, or refund them.

Where a dispute involves impersonation, fraud, or a breach of this Acceptable Use Policy, you can report it to us at the contact address below. We will review reports and take appropriate action on accounts and listings, which may include removal.

7Enforcement

We may remove listings, suspend or terminate accounts, and restrict access where we reasonably believe this policy or the law has been broken, or to protect users and the integrity of the platform. We may act on user reports or on our own review, and we may do so without prior notice where the violation is serious.

8Liability

ugc.ng is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee the conduct, identity, quality, or reliability of any user, or the outcome of any engagement arranged through the platform.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pristine3D Ltd is not liable for any loss arising from dealings between users, from work performed or not performed, or from payments settled off-platform. For protection-covered engagements, our responsibility is limited to holding and releasing the protected payment in line with these terms; our aggregate liability for an engagement will not exceed the protected payment for it. You use the platform, and engage other users, at your own risk.

9Changes & contact

We may update these Terms and this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time. The effective date above reflects the current version, and continued use of ugc.ng after an update means you accept the revised terms.
